This screener scans NSE-listed common stocks from the Nifty Total Market universe and recalculates the indicators after each market close. Prices and candles come from Yahoo Finance; EMAs, RSI and percentage moves use daily candles, while MACD uses weekly candles.
The preset filters
- EMA 25 and EMA 30 above price — price has dipped below the short-term averages.
- EMA 100 and EMA 200 below price — price is still above the longer-term trend.
- RSI 14 between 30 and 70 — neither oversold nor overheated.
- Weekly MACD (12, 26) level above signal — the weekly momentum is still positive.
- Technical rating 1W and 1M — Neutral, Buy or Strong Buy by default.
Together these describe a pullback inside a longer-term uptrend. Every filter can be changed, and Reset returns to the preset.
Frequently asked questions
Which stocks does the equity screener cover?
NSE common stocks (EQ series) in the Nifty Total Market index — roughly 750 companies. If the live index list cannot be fetched, the screener falls back to the Nifty 50 and says so on the page.
How often is the data updated?
Once on every weekday after the NSE close. The "updated" time above the table shows when the last scan finished.
Is the technical rating the same as TradingView's?
No. It is Market Dekho's approximation of the moving-average and oscillator consensus, so values will be close but not identical.
