Bulk and block deals

Large trades reported by NSE: who bought or sold, how many shares and at what average price. Search a stock, filter by buy or sell, and export the list.

Frequently asked questions

What is a bulk deal?

A trade where one client buys or sells more than 0.5% of a company's listed shares in a day. Exchanges publish these after the close.

What is a block deal?

A single large trade, executed in a special trading window, of at least the minimum size set by the exchange. It is usually negotiated between big institutions.

Does a big buyer mean the stock will rise?

No. A deal shows that a trade happened, not why. The seller may be exiting while the buyer is rebalancing, and a deal can be one leg of a larger arrangement. Treat it as one piece of context, never as a signal on its own.

Why might a deal be missing?

Disclosures are collected twice each weekday from NSE's public data. If NSE does not respond, you will see the last good data with its date.
