Market Mood

What it is

A 0–100 score of how the last NIFTY session “felt”, in five bands: Extreme Fear, Fear, Neutral, Greed, Extreme Greed.

How it is calculated

The average of three sub-scores: breadth (share of NIFTY 50 stocks that rose), NIFTY 50 momentum (last session's % change, capped at ±1.5%), and volatility (India VIX compared with its own recent range, so a calm market scores higher).

Data & timing

Prices from Yahoo Finance. Calculated each weekday morning (about 8:30 AM IST) for the previous session.

Limits

A simplified three-input gauge, not a forecast or a trading signal. It can be wrong or stale if a data feed fails.

Market Movers

What it is

Day-change % for each NIFTY 50 stock, shown as top gainers, top losers and a sector average.

Data & timing

Yahoo Finance, refreshed about every 15 minutes during NSE hours. The constituent list is maintained by hand and updated around NSE's index rebalances, so it can briefly lag.

Limits

Prices can be delayed and are indicative, not exchange-verified. If too few symbols load in a cycle, the previous snapshot is kept and its timestamp shown.

Stock pages

What they show

Last price, day change, 52-week range, trailing price returns and sector, for NIFTY 50 stocks. Price returns exclude dividends.

What they do not show

No buy, sell or hold calls, targets or stop-losses. For a view on a holding, use Samjho Bhai.

Data & timing

Daily bars from Yahoo Finance, fetched when the page is requested and cached for up to 15 minutes. If the feed is down, the page says so.

Screeners

What they are

Filters over a daily snapshot of indicator values (moving averages, RSI, MACD, trailing performance) for a stock or crypto universe.

Data & timing

Equity and US data from Yahoo Finance, crypto from Binance. Rebuilt on a schedule and shown with the time of the last scan.

Limits

The ratings column is a mechanical summary of indicators. It is not advice and does not consider your goals, risk or costs.

IPO Watch & GMP

Official data

Dates, price band, lot size and issue details come from NSE and Chittorgarh and are combined by company name; a few fields can be missing or marked TBA until a source publishes them. Status (upcoming, open, closed) is recomputed from the dates in IST.

GMP

Grey Market Premium comes from IPOWatch. It is an unofficial, informal indicator that can change within hours. It is not set or confirmed by any exchange or regulator and does not guarantee the listing price.

Timing

Calendar and details refresh daily or more often; GMP daily. Each page shows when it last updated.

News wire

Sources

Headlines from Moneycontrol, Economic Times, Livemint, Business Standard (RSS) and a curated Discord feed. Links go to the publisher.

Limits

We aggregate headlines and do not verify them. Wire headlines may be corrected by their publishers after we show them.

Economic calendar

ForexFactory's public calendar feed via Fair Economy. Times are converted to IST. Actual figures are filled in shortly after release.

Limits

Forecast and previous values come from the source and may be revised. Check the issuing agency for official numbers.

Mutual fund data

Sources

NAV history from mfapi.in and AMFI's published NAV file; fund facts (benchmark, managers, AUM, expense ratio, riskometer, exit load) derived from AMFI data.

Timing

Refreshed daily. Past returns do not indicate future returns. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risk.

Samjho Bhai

What it is

An automated review of holdings you enter. It resolves the stock, pulls price history at a timeframe tied to your stated goal, and applies Market Dekho's technical indicators (a trend and stop-loss line plus RSI) to produce a BUY / HOLD / SELL style read with a short explanation.

What it is not

It is not a human adviser and does not know your finances, tax position, risk tolerance or other investments. It can be wrong, and the exact formulas are not published.

Your data

Holdings you enter are used to produce the review. Each completed review is also logged (stock, verdict, price at the time, your stated goal) so the public Track Record can score it later; share counts and buy prices are not part of that log. Email addresses given for reports or alerts are used for those purposes only.

Before acting

Treat any output as one educational input. Consider speaking to a SEBI-registered investment adviser before making decisions.

Track Record

How calls are scored

A logged BUY counts as correct if the price 30 days later is higher than when the call was made; a SELL is correct if lower. HOLD calls are logged but not scored.

Limits

A deliberately simple rule. It ignores costs, dividends, position size and overall market moves, and 30 days is one arbitrary window. Read the full log, not just the percentage.
