IPO Allotment Status: How to Check

No IPO in our data has an allotment date between the last 14 days and the next 7. Allotment is published by each issue's registrar, so this page links only to the official registrar and exchange portals and explains the steps.

Official portals

Other registrars used for IPOs include Bigshare Services, Cameo Corporate Services, Skyline Financial Services and Maashitla Securities. Each issue's offer document, and the exchange page for the issue, name its registrar. Market Dekho does not collect your PAN or application details, and you should enter them only on the registrar's or exchange's own website.

How to check allotment

  1. Find the registrar in the IPO's offer document or on its IPO page.
  2. Open that registrar's official IPO status page, or the BSE or NSE page above.
  3. Select the IPO and enter your PAN, application number or DP and client ID.
  4. If shares are allotted they are credited to your demat account around the credit date; a block on your bank account for an unsuccessful bid is released (see ASBA).

How shares are divided when an issue is oversubscribed is explained under basis of allotment.

Frequently asked questions

Who announces IPO allotment?

The issue's registrar finalises and publishes allotment, together with the lead managers and the exchange. The stock exchange pages also let you verify an application.

Why was I not allotted shares?

When an issue is oversubscribed in your category, a published rule, often a lottery, decides who is allotted. Not being allotted is common and says nothing about your application being wrong.

Is my money deducted if I am not allotted shares?

With ASBA the amount is blocked in your bank account, not debited. If you receive no shares, the block is released.

Does Market Dekho check allotment for me?

No. We link only to official portals and never ask for your PAN or application number.
