SEBI PIT filings
Insider trading disclosures
Promoters, directors and other insiders must disclose trades in their own company's shares. This page lists recent filings so you can see what was reported.
Frequently asked questions
Are these trades illegal?
No. Insiders may trade, but they must disclose it, and trading on unpublished price-sensitive information is what SEBI prohibits. These rows are disclosures, not accusations.
Does insider buying predict gains?
Not reliably. Insiders may buy for personal reasons, sell to pay taxes or fund a purchase, or receive shares through schemes that are not market trades. Read the Mode column and treat a filing as context only.
What does the Category column mean?
It shows the person's relationship to the company, such as promoter, director or designated person, as reported in the filing.
How current is this?
Filings are collected twice each weekday and cover roughly the last two weeks. Companies can file a few days after the trade.
