Order block: meaning, example and why it matters
In Smart Money Concepts, the last opposing candle before a strong move, treated as an area where large participants may have placed orders. It is a framework for marking possible reaction zones, not a guarantee that price will react.
Worked example
If the last down candle before a strong rise spans ₹198 to ₹200, a Smart Money Concepts reader marks ₹198 to ₹200 as the order block and watches how price behaves if it returns there. Many such zones do not hold.
