Calendar data (dates, price band, lot size) sourced from NSE/BSE public filings, refreshed daily. The GMP Rating is a 1-10 score Market Dekho assigns based on the Grey Market Premium looked up for each IPO — GMP itself is an unofficial, unregulated indicator not published by SEBI or the exchanges, and can change through the day; the rating is our own summary of it, not a live feed. IPO Watch FAQs
How do I check IPO allotment status?
Allotment status is published by the registrar (like Link Intime or KFin) and on the NSE/BSE websites, using your PAN, application number or demat client ID — usually a couple of days after the IPO closes. This page shows each IPO's Basis of Allotment date so you know when to check.
What is kostak rate in an IPO?
Kostak rate is an unofficial grey-market price for selling your IPO application itself (before allotment is even known), quoted as a flat amount per application — separate from GMP, which is the premium quoted on the shares after allotment. Like GMP, it's unregulated and not published by SEBI or the exchanges.
What does IPO subscription status mean?
Subscription status shows how many times an IPO has been bid for versus the shares on offer, broken down by category (retail, QIB, NII) — published live during the bidding window on the NSE and BSE bidding pages. A high subscription number in an oversubscribed IPO usually means lower odds of allotment per applicant.
Can GMP predict IPO listing gains?
GMP is a rough sentiment signal, not a listing-gain prediction — it reflects unofficial grey-market demand before listing and can swing right up to the listing date. Market Dekho's GMP Rating (1-10) summarizes it for education, but it isn't a guarantee of how an IPO will actually list.
